The Duke of Kansar, known as the "Mage of the Night," suddenly returned to Lankesta.
For the past six months, the famous and most powerful exorcist in the empire had been caught up in rumors that he was about to fall and become a Dark Demon King.
"You brought me back," the duke said, gazing at Susan with his brilliant, jewel-like blue eyes. "Just like... just like Gerda brought Kai back from the Snow Queen."
"...Me?" Susan stared blankly, then shook her head in panic. "That wasn't me! I didn't do it!!"
She's just a low-ranking, entry-level exorcist. How could she possibly do something like that?!!!
(P.S. The Snow Queen fairy tale is only mentioned in dialogue; there are no derivative elements.)
Couple: A white-collar rabbit suppressing her urge to bite x an impossibly powerful, B-king big shot and everyone's favorite
The white-collar worker tries desperately to placate him: "Yes, yes, you're right, sure, sure, all right, all right..."
The B-king is thoroughly satisfied: "I knew Su Xi loved me most~~"
Rabbit: "...Maybe I should just work hard to level up and get out of here."

Synopsis 2:
The steampunk era of the Second Industrial Revolution.
Demonic seeds take root in people's hearts, and extreme emotions breed extreme madness.
There is only a hair's breadth between an exorcist and a demon.
A day in the life of a workplace slacker who gets dragged into leveling up by a big shot: the dangers include demons violently transforming as they tear through human skin, eyes growing in the palms of their hands, and darkness spreading to devour everything...
My own take on battling monsters and leveling up. The heroine has a hidden golden finger, which she doesn't know about at first.

Tips:
1. This is a fictional story set in an alternate Edwardian-era fantasy world.
2. This is an ensemble cast, with many characters and relationships, but the male and female leads are a one-to-one couple.

Prologue
At this moment, someone somewhere in the world is weeping,
weeping for no reason in the world,
weeping for me.
Rilke, "The Serious Hour"
Theme: Every meeting is a reunion after a long separation.
The author signed a big deal! Come on
Please hurry up and sign the contract, love you?
I really love Western fantasy novels. I have been looking for them since I finished reading Mystery. This kind of writing is very good. If you like it, you should read more and write more. There is a small problem, which is the segmentation and spacing. There are too many and it makes me tired to read.
