Her Fairy-Tale Book

"The prince became king, married the princess, and they lived happily ever after?"

"Why couldn't the princess become king? It's 'king,' not 'queen.'"

", Why assume that a 'king' has to be a man?"

In a real fairy tale written for girls,

the clever, brave princess defeats the dragon and becomes king.

And the prince?

The gentle, beautiful prince is merely an added bonus.
