The Poirot Café Management Log

Comment replies are open. New chapters daily, three thousand characters each, with bonus updates from time to time. If an update is impossible due to special circumstances, I'll post a notice. Everyone is welcome to leave comments and chat. The more, the merrier! (Throws flowers)

The story mainly focuses on running a business and food. Characters are given brief introductions when they appear, so readers unfamiliar with the original series can enjoy it too!

*** Blurb ***

After transmigrating into the manager of the Poirot Cafe, the upstanding young woman Fujiwara Rika has only one wish: to live a prosperous, civilized, and friendly life.

Although she's in Beika Town, where the crime rate is as high as 99%, the business-management System lets her accumulate revenue to enter prize draws and win exclusive enchanted dishes. Building the cafe's popularity earns her upgrade packs with skills that can help her protect herself.

Special guests can even unlock their own collectible card albums!!!

Fujiwara Rika diligently saves up one 648 after another:

[Dreamy Cloud Cotton Candy]

[Cheese Is Power Beef Flatbread]

[Interstellar Bubble Coffee]

[Strawberry Gem Parfait]

Months later, the Poirot Cafe has become famous throughout the Detective Conan world.

By day, food critics and heiresses fill the cafe, while members of the FBI and the Tokyo Metropolitan Police fight tooth and nail over the last dessert.

At night, the magician under the moonlight drops by uninvited.

Behind the counter, the employee Amuro glares murderously at the rival who shows up every day without fail, unable to resist commenting on his boss's taste in men...

"Ding!"

The System's card album is already packed full. At the top lie two UR cards that can each switch between three identities. One comes with four hidden quests and the special title "The Emperor of Part-Time Jobs"; the other is surrounded by a rainbow aura reading "The Old Bandit's Beloved Eldest Son."

However, the skills Fujiwara Rika gets are darker than the last:

[Sleight of Hand]

[Death-Defying Jump]

[No Door Can Keep Me Out]

[Look at Me, You Brat]

Fujiwara Rika watches as she strays farther and farther from the image of a model Beika citizen.

The Red Team (biting a handkerchief, eyes brimming with tears): "She must have her reasons for doing this."

The Black Team (a workaholic already going gray): "Tsk, she's got potential."

Akai: "What do I do if my girlfriend's subordinate wants to kill me? Answer quickly, I'm desperate!"

Fujiwara Rika: "System, get out here!"

**

Business management is the main focus, with Akai as the love interest. The romance is relatively minor.

[Shops All Across Tokyo] [Anime Crossover]

Once filming wraps, why not open a shop?

Inoue Haruna binds herself to a business-management System and plunges headfirst into a dangerous Anime Crossover world.

Although she's hopeless at cooking, every shop offers a chance to summon a master chef from Food Wars! to serve as its resident mentor.

Inoue Haruna studies hard as she opens ramen shops, tempura shops, yakitori shops, soba shops...

The shops she unlocks gradually spread across all of Tokyo!

After a long day of overtime, exhausted Nanami trudges back to the shop. Inoue Haruna pops her head out and brings him a piping-hot pot she's prepared in advance:

"You're back~"

**

The Anime Crossover world is full of danger. While running her business, the System thoughtfully brings up a minigame for Inoue Haruna to play in her spare time.

For now, though, she can only unlock a one-star game called Swimming Cat.

Inoue Haruna tentatively opens it and discovers that the game is somewhat like Big Fish Eats Little Fish. The kitten she controls seems to be injured. Blood spreads wherever it swims, and it constantly burns through huge amounts of energy!

To get the kitten safely to the finish line before it runs out of energy, Inoue Haruna must concentrate completely and have it eat fish, shrimp, and turtles smaller than itself to replenish its energy.

Two minutes later...

[You died]

Five minutes later...

[You died]

Inoue Haruna refuses to give up. She tries again and again, nearly memorizing the map and the food locations!

At last...

[Congratulations on clearing the game! Upload your record?]

Inoue Haruna: "Obviously! Upload it, upload it!"

[Uploading... Upload successful!]

At the same time, on a distant rooftop, officer Morofushi, code-named Scotland, pulls the trigger. As his consciousness fades, he sees that the childhood friend running toward him is also an undercover agent in the Black Organization!

[Do you wish to be reborn? Do you wish to understand the true meaning of life?]

[Yes] [No]

A choice box suddenly appears in officer Morofushi's mind. Without hesitation, he clicks Yes, not caring what god or deity is behind it!

In an instant, a mysterious force takes control of his body.

He suddenly flips over and dives into the sea behind him, swimming swiftly and effortlessly like a fish.

Even more astonishingly, whenever he is about to run out of strength, a mysterious energy flows into him, and the gunshot wound in his chest gradually heals!

Guidance continues to echo in his mind. Eventually, the resurrected officer Morofushi arrives, soaking wet, in front of an unfamiliar shop.

"Excuse me, are you hiring a shop manager?"

**

A gentle, unassuming companionship and a warm, beautiful everyday life. Nanami is the love interest. In a crappy world, the two heal each other. Business and romance are equally important.

The minigames reflect reality, saving some characters who would otherwise have died or been written out, and making them shop managers.

Theme: Love life and face everything with a positive attitude.
