Meng Jin has recently been having the same dream over and over.
In it, someone carries her corpse and buries it in a pit on a remote mountain. In the same grave lies another man, already quite dead.
Meng Jin thought it was because she'd been reading too many case files for her exams, and that her dreams were simply reflecting her thoughts.
But when she went to report for duty at the Public Security Bureau, she saw a man walking toward her and froze on the spot.
Th-that's the very man who was buried alongside her in her dream!
