(The blurb is written in first person, the main story in third person.)
I'm a supernatural ability user.
When I was eighteen, I awakened an ability called "Game of Life." After that, I was forced to log into a game in my sleep.
In this fake world, I'm an unremarkable male side character.
Before long, I discovered that this game world, created by my ability, was full of things that made no sense.
My useless father only managed an insignificant, small mafia family, yet somehow he got the game's male lead, the good-for-nothing underdog who rose to power, the uncrowned king of Sicily and the Padrone of the Vongola, to sign our marriage certificate.
And so the male lead became the person I, an unremarkable nobody, married at a young age.
Hmm...
After thinking it over, I figured his marriage to the Vongola was probably an unimportant part of some game event, just one stage in the great hot-blooded shonen protagonist's route through the heroine plotline.
And as a nobody like me, I'd probably get a "you're a good person" card from the male lead soon and then exit the story.
Until then... staying by the male lead's side as a cannon-fodder nobody should be perfectly safe.
But I have to complain about one thing first.
Sawada-kun, whether it's a game or a manga, your healing-type good-for-nothing-underling-who-makes-a-comeback character is out of fashion now.
...All right.
After spending two years freeloading at the Vongola and living a lazy life, I got a face-slapping reality check.
I was young and arrogant. I didn't know any better.
Healing types are the best! The good-for-nothing comic relief is the GOAT! Sawada Tsunayoshi (drops to one knee, clutching his heart), you! Are! My! God!
Just as I thought my wonderful lazy life would continue until the game ended, one peaceful night, the Guardians forcibly took me back to Japan.
They told me that my fiance in name only had been killed.
The game's male lead...
was dead?
-
After getting a bad ending and logging out of the game, I once again confirmed one truth.
Being involved with the mafia makes life a pile of crap.
My fiance wasn't some shonen anime protagonist at all. What kind of protagonist gets killed by the villainous boss, huh?
I booked a flight back to Japan in the middle of the night...
That's right.
I'm going to escape the mafia, and this fake world where Sawada Tsunayoshi might exist.
My father's cousin has a multinational medical company across the ocean. I heard that before he died, he handed the company over to his adopted son, a promising young heir.
I planned to seek refuge with this cousin.
My cousin is great, my cousin is wonderful. As soon as I landed, I moved into the huge villa he'd arranged for me. He even assigned a silver-haired, cool-looking bodyguard with impressive combat skills to do my bidding, even though he always gave me an irritated look as if he wanted to blow my head off.
I still felt that life was wonderful.
...But gradually, I noticed something was wrong.
...Can anyone tell me:
Why is Sawada Tsunayoshi everywhere in this world?!
Reader's guide:
1. CP 270. The Reborn! storyline for 10+ is mostly original.
2. Content warning: The protagonist's way of thinking is different from most people's. For special reasons, he can't properly understand his own abilities or emotions, but he will continue to grow as the story progresses.
Theme: Save you at the end of the world.
Looking forward to the future, when will the author update?
Looking forward to the follow-up! So what is his status at the port? Boss?
Update, update, update [cat's claw][cat's claw][cat's claw]
