Shi Ning was a high-paid professional on the verge of starting his career. But on a trip before his first day at work, an avalanche struck. When he woke up, he had become an eighteen-year-old high school boy who had dropped out to work.
His once-comfortable family background was gone, his education was gone, and his high salary was certainly gone. He had gone back to square one overnight.
Luckily, he had a good attitude and could take things as they came.
But as time went on, this world started to feel a little like some melodramatic novel he'd once read.
For example, the male lead grabbed the collar of the other male lead, trying to humiliate him with the poor nursing aide's humble circumstances. "Without me, you'd have to fend for yourself like him, living a hard life and earning next to nothing."
The male lead and his white-moonlight love interest ran into each other on a yacht and got splashed with wine. The white moonlight grabbed a waiter to shield them, leaving the young man shivering in the cold wind and smelling of wine from head to toe.
Then there was the haunted house at the amusement park. The two male leads were too awkward to hold hands, but when a ghost in white hanged itself in front of them, they threw their arms around each other.
But the problem was, that nursing aide was Shi Ning. The waiter was Shi Ning. Even the hanged ghost was Shi Ning.
So he'd come to this world to work, and they were going to squeeze every last bit of labor out of him!
In the original novel, nameless NPCs would just take whatever came their way. Shi Ning wouldn't. You think you're royalty? I'll knock your skull right off.
Realizing he couldn't escape, Shi Ning's mental state grew more and more dazzling. Besides giving those two lunatics a couple of merciless punches every time they crossed paths, he gradually set his sights on the world's biggest villain, Chi Wang.
A guy who also treated the so-called royalty like ordinary people, and a top-tier fantasy come to life, matching everything Shi Ning thought a domineering CEO should be.
So the little fox stretched out his claws, trying to drag him into his den. Then they could give those two nutcases a couple of punches together.
