[Harry Potter] Thoughts of the End

From childhood, Callista Bole was someone whose thoughts were unusual, but whose actions fit in with everyone else.

Her friends and family were all devoted supporters of Pure-blood Supremacy. To preserve her relationships and avoid being isolated or abandoned, and even more so to avoid damaging her bonds with others, she rarely voiced her disapproval directly. That is, until war broke out, and one of her longtime friends, Blaise Zabini, said:

"Maybe they aren't necessarily wrong."

During the summer of 1994, she had no idea that a major change was coming the following year. At the time, she was simply worried about what use Mr. Borgin's hidden locket could possibly have.

Looking back in 1997, in just three short years, the feelings that had grown over time had finally become the frost and desolation of memory, and the long sighs of the present.

Fortunately, in the end, though the fantasy was incomplete, it finally became reality.
