To Save My Sister's Man, I'll Give It My All as Her Brother

My younger sister is the most beautiful person in all the Great Wilderness, but she has never had much luck in love.

I've been jealous of her lovers many times.

I thought it was just my duty as her older brother.

Then Xiao Song appeared. His eyes were exactly like those of my sister's dead lover.

My sister said she would love only him in this life.

Xiao Song was fated to die young. To save his life, I had no choice but to accompany my sister east, to seek a match from the gods.

But once we set out, my sister showed no interest in anyone else. She only wanted to stay by my side, every moment of every day.

My sister asked me, "Brother, what will you look like when you're old?"

I answered, "Grow old with me, and you'll find out."

But it was a long time before I learned that I couldn't stay with her until old age.

I didn't even have another life in which to be by her side.
