Shanghai's pampered darling x Guangzhou's handsome bad boy

Because of her parents' work transfer, Liang Pingxuan moves from Shanghai to Guangzhou to start her first year of high school.

She can't get used to Guangzhou and resolves to go back to Shanghai for university.

But halfway through, Xu Anzhou derails her plans.

On the night the college entrance exams end, the class group chat is buzzing with students comparing answers.

Someone drops a secretly taken photo of Liang Pingxuan and Xu Anzhou sitting together, holding hands as they drink.

[I was sitting right behind them!]

The group chat explodes, and everyone teases them for hiding their relationship so well throughout all three years of high school.

Sipping her milk tea, Liang Pingxuan opens WeChat and scrolls up through the class chat.

A moment later, she leans toward Xu Anzhou and whispers in his ear. They both turn around, then get up from their seats.

Xu Anzhou holds out his hand to the classmate who took the photo, his voice turning cool. "Handsome, let me borrow your phone."

Under pressure, the classmate hands it over.

Liang Pingxuan asks softly, "Why are you taking their phone?"

Weren't they supposed to come over together and ask him to delete the photo?

Xu Anzhou puts an arm around her shoulders, takes a selfie with that phone, then uses it to send the picture to the class group: [I'm Xu Anzhou. @Liang Pingxuan, happy first day of our official relationship.]
