Online gaming novel, details to be decided
One night, while gaming, Chun Zao happened to be caught up in a guild hunt. Unlucky and alone, he was cornered by the enemy guild with no way out.
He thought he was done for, but his teammate, who had been AFK for half the match, suddenly came back to life and rescued him, racking up an incredible 15-0 record.
The teammate had a little girl's voice, a character with twin ponytails, and a long spear that swung back and forth, right into Chun Zao's heart.
Nineteen years without a relationship, and Chun Zao fell head over heels just like that.
He thought he was a shy homebody who was no good at socializing, so even an online relationship wouldn't go well. But although the girl on the other end had a fiery temper, she was surprisingly straightforward and cheerful. Once they grew close, she was especially gentle with Chun Zao.
Chun Zao fell for her completely.
After three months of online dating, they'd called each other "baby" and "sweetheart" hundreds of times. Chun Zao felt it was time to take their relationship to the next level.
When the other person asked if he wanted to meet in real life, Chun Zao hesitated and trembled, then sent a photo first.
But his usually gentle, cheerful girlfriend took one look at the photo and instantly lost it. First she exploded, then yelled:
Who is that in this photo?
Baby, you don't actually like guys like this, do you? This girly guy?
Damn it!!
Chun Zao: ...?
Chun Zao: That's me.
[The other person withdrew three messages.]
Top: I'm sorry, baby. Actually, I can be with a guy too.
Top: And, baby, you're really beautiful.
Top: Also, um, baby...

A minute later, the top noticed that a giant exclamation mark had appeared beneath the mirror selfie of his buzz cut and abs, a photo he'd spent half an hour posing for with total confidence.
Top: Wait, wife, why did you block me?
Chun Zao, who had just discovered that his online girlfriend wasn't even the right gender: QAQ Waaaah, you're the one who owes me my cyber wife!

A classic (maybe?) online-dating trope: two people plan to meet after dating online, only to discover that they've both gotten each other's gender wrong.
A shameless, sharp-tongued younger top x a beautiful, shy little bodhisattva of a bottom
Top: I can date a guy too. I'm straight-ish, maybe a little bi.
Bottom: I'd rather break than bend!
Premise: After quitting the game, they both went crazy
