The Moment You Start Beast Taming, You’re as Good as Buried

After staying up late gaming and dying suddenly, Bian Hongfeng transmigrates to a world of beast tamers.

Here, strange beasts roam everywhere, and beast tamers hold positions of great esteem.

The first thing Bian Hongfeng sees when she opens her eyes is Abilieta, a dragon-type divine beast. After falling off a cliff, she even has a rare wild beast go out of its way to bring her food. On top of that, a big shot from a research institute personally invites her to join one of its affiliated academies, where she can go straight into a trainee researcher position upon graduation.

Her prospects in this new world look bright. From the start, she has all the makings of a protagonist, and given time, she is sure to become the next great beast tamer.

But:

"I'm sorry, but our examination shows that you have no spiritual power, so you can't register as a beast tamer." The Beast Taming Center staff member looks at Bian Hongfeng with pity.

"A beast tamer? Someone ordinary like you would be better off not having unrealistic expectations," says Bian Hongfeng's high school teacher.

"Stop calling, and don't send us anything else. We're going to focus on raising your younger sister, and we don't have time to deal with your rebellious phase." Those are the words of Bian Hongfeng's parents in this world.

Bian Hongfeng: Oh no. Doesn't this mean I've got a double dose of protagonist buffs? I have absolutely no reason to laze around anymore.

Years later, Bian Hongfeng has become the champion of the latest Global Beast Taming League, a pet beast breeder, and a trainer. She has even befriended several legendary divine beasts, and reached heights everyone can only look up to. When asked how she overcame all the difficulties she faced when she was young and emerged reborn, Bian Hongfeng smiles.

"How should I put it? I felt like my life was very protagonist-like, so I went and did the things a protagonist should do."

Reporter: Oh no, she actually pulled it off!

Audience: Let her show off! Let her show off! It's normal for the youngest World Champion in Beast Taming League history to be a little chuunibyou, right?
