Global Beast Taming: A Little Stray Dog from the Start

Overworked office drone Xiang Jinxin transmigrates to an era of beast taming.

In this era, everyone can awaken a beast-taming talent. The stronger the talent, the stronger the beast they can control.

The bad news: Xiang Jinxin awakens a D-rank beast-taming talent with limited potential. She's an ordinary person who would go completely unnoticed in a crowd.

The good news: She unexpectedly binds herself to the [God-Tier Beast-Taming System], which can measure the potential of every beast pet.

After enrolling, Xiang Jinxin goes with her academy instructor to the beast-pet farm to choose her first beast pet.

While her classmates choose fierce beasts like Gale Wolves and Blazing Leopards,

Xiang Jinxin notices a little brown dog that failed to evolve.

The little dog's ears droop over its head, and its tail wags at her again and again. "Woof, woof!"

Xiang Jinxin crouches down and gathers the puppy in her arms.

This isn't some little brown dog that failed to evolve. It's our famous Chinese rural dog!

[ Ding! The God-Tier Beast-Taming System has loaded successfully. Current beast-pet potential: five stars. Strongly recommend that the Host form a contract. ]

Everyone thinks Xiang Jinxin has contracted a little brown dog with no offensive capabilities.

That is, until the joint academy entrance exam.

Xiang Jinxin snaps her fingers. "Xiaobai, fireball attack!"

Under everyone's watchful gaze, the little dog bares its teeth and spits out a massive blaze of red fire, burning the opposing beast pet until it runs all over the arena.

Xiang Jinxin crouches slightly and strokes the well-behaved puppy, the corners of her lips lifting. "Nice work. I'll give you an extra chicken leg for dinner."

Audience: "?!"

You seriously expect me to believe that's a little brown dog?
