A cool, reserved heroine vs. a sunny, cheerful hero
At sixteen, a downpour so heavy it could soak right through your bones.
Yet Yu Xinmian wrote “Sunny” in her diary.
Because the boy had told her beneath a streetlight, “I like you.”
At eighteen, beneath a flamboyant tree in full bloom.
The boy dressed up carefully, held flowers in his hands, and asked Yu Xinmian, “A-Mian, will you be with me?”
At nineteen, for Yu Xinmian's birthday and their first anniversary.
They went to Venice and kissed beneath the Bridge of Sighs.
The boy said, “We can be together forever now.”
Their vow of forever never came true.
At twenty-eight, they had survived living abroad and weathered natural disasters, but they couldn't escape the harm people did to them.
The boy had wanted A-Mian to tell him “I love you” while he lay in bed. Only when he was nearly unconscious, lying in her arms, did he finally get to hear it.
But he could no longer respond. He couldn't even smile at her.
Yu Xinmian kowtowed to his parents and apologized. Then she said, “I'll go die.”

Some lie at ease atop piles of gold and silver, while others toil in sweat all day and still can't earn enough to live.
Some kill and walk away without a care, while others spend their entire lives trapped beneath a demon's shadow.
The human world is a place of tangled power and cover-ups.
The world is woven from many colors, but gray is the most common.
Shadows are plain to see in the sunlight, while the darkness that grows in gray areas is hard to detect.

[The 340,000-character novel is complete and fully written. Updates every day at 11 a.m.]
P.S. 1. The main story has a bad ending. There are too many regrets and I owe them too much, so the alternate route has a happy ending.
2. If any place or character names in the story resemble real ones, please don't read them as references to real people or places.
3. Realist in tone, with more plot in the first half and more romance in the second.
4. The female characters are mostly positive, but there are a few antagonistic women. If that bothers you, please don't read. (The prologue author's note has specific content warnings.)
[Preview blurb for an upcoming novel. Interested readers can add it to their favorites in my author profile!]
A super-oblivious, self-reliant, ambitious sweetheart vs. a sharp-tongued, cold-faced, jealous young master
Qiu Panyue thought her marriage to Pei Yu was a straightforward business deal.
He paid for her father's medical treatment, she helped him avoid a family-arranged marriage, and she got a monthly salary of fifty thousand for her trouble.
Pei Yu was cold and bad-tempered around other people, but in private, he remembered all her likes and dislikes.
She'd known him for seven or eight years, but she'd never felt this strongly for him before.
Still, Qiu Panyue reminded herself three times every day: Stay calm! It's all an act! He has a first love!
Until she discovered that the legendary “first love” of Pei Yu's was apparently, possibly, probably... herself, the one who got drunk, kissed him, and forgot all about it the next day.
*
In Pei Yu's eyes, Qiu Panyue was a block of wood who just didn't get it.
He'd schemed to get her to tutor him in high school, then schemed again to trick her into a marriage certificate after college. But after she finished her graduate school entrance exams, she was still planning to run away to her hometown, somewhere far away.
Then came the accident after they got drunk, and Qiu Panyue fled back to her hometown.
Pei Yu pursued her relentlessly. Just like he had on so many nights over the past year, he cautiously put his arms around her, his breath brushing her ear. “If you don't pull away, that means you like me, right?”
*
There wasn't much of importance on Pei Yu's phone. Only his notes and audio recordings absolutely could not be lost.
His notes were filled with Qiu Panyue's likes and dislikes. The recordings held the first time she ever said “Good night” to him.
His silver hair shone like moonlight. It was only later, when she held Pei Yu's hand and watched the first snow of the year fall over the capital, that Qiu Panyue understood: the cool, distant moon she once thought was beyond her reach had already bent down to her countless times.
P.S. 1. The male lead has silver hair, and probably will throughout the whole story, so I won't worry about it fading.
2. A lighthearted sweet romance with occasional angst and a happy ending.
Theme: Blooming in the mud.
The writing style is very delicate, and the character setting and plot are also very good. I look forward to the author's next work.
The full text is finished, thank you for accompanying me ❤️ If an update is shown later, it means that the text has been revised recently and some words have been changed, which will have little impact on the plot. The column has an advance copy of "The Moon Enters Her Arms". The protagonist's character looks a bit like Xiaoxiao and Wen Jihou. If you are interested, you can click and collect it ~ There are two final volumes: This ancient Chinese novel tells the story of a girl who gradually finds herself and succeeds after getting out of a bad relationship. Ah Shui's tenacity still inspires me to this day. An ancient love story, it tells the story of a girl with a pleasing personality who gradually gets rid of her inferiority complex and becomes herself in love. It's just that the length is short, and many things are not discussed in detail. If you are interested, you can also go to the column to read the two completed articles [touch your head] If we are destined, we will see you next time 🤗
I stopped reading this and didn't know if I should continue to the next chapter. I was afraid that what was waiting for me behind was a darkness deeper than the abyss.
Thousands of words are all lost in words 🥺
🤗 I always feel that that person will not be me, and suddenly I have to look at it again from the beginning, and I am so happy [Compare my heart] Come on for the next few days [Spread flowers] We have to go for a long, long time, so I am not ashamed to say it. [Sunglasses]
[Spread flowers][Spread flowers][Spread flowers] I can comment! I have never commented, I have a lot to say... In general, meeting is fate, I must eat well [rice] and sleep well 💤 take good care of your body, the future is still long [like] Also, believe in yourself, even if you are not writing, you must believe in yourself, believe in yourself 🤗 Of course (murmur in a low voice) I look forward to more works and more improvements from you [cover your face and peek] Then, see you next time [bixin] Thank you for the courage you gave me.
I have been chasing the author before and finished the diary 😳😳 Amien and Amien must be happy.
