[Detective Conan] Dear Miss Watson

“Why are you trying so hard to protect me?”

“Dummy... Because I love you more than anyone else in the world.”

A ShinRan fic, including a de-aging plot. The Black Organization’s criminal actions will never be forgiven.

A few warnings:

Conan x Ai fans, stay away! Conan x Ai fans, stay away! Conan x Ai fans, stay away!

Ai fans, stay away! Ai fans, stay away! Ai fans, stay away!

The main pairings are the canon couples, including but not limited to Shinichi and Ran, Eri and Kogoro, Makoto and Sonoko, Heiji and Kazuha, Kaito and Aoko, and many more.

I’ll do my best to revise unreasonable events from the original so they make sense, and to fill in gaps in the original plot logic.

Uncle Mouri returns to his role as a police detective, not a private detective. This deviates greatly from the original.

Ai’s name will be changed to one that follows normal naming conventions.

Includes a little Gin and Shiho, with complex feelings that mix a little yearning, a great deal of reverence, and deeply buried fear. They cannot be summed up simply as “love.”

Ai’s feelings for Conan (Shinichi) and her personality will follow the official character guide’s canon settings.

Follows the original setting that Shiho is around 20 years old (21 in this story). Akemi has always loved Shiho and sacrificed her own life to give her little sister a chance to survive.

Shuichi and Akemi’s relationship is a mature love between adults. They love each other, but some things matter more than love: for Akemi, her little sister’s safety; for Shuichi, his father’s whereabouts.

IN BIG, BOLD LETTERS: Rei is NOT the Miyano family’s adopted eldest son! He barely remembers Akemi, and his fixation is solely on Elena. In this story, he will learn that Elena joined the Black Organization of her own accord for money.

Theme: The world and you
