Synopsis
A new employee has recently joined the Wuchang Residence, a place between life and death.
The young man behind the counter is barely twenty, mortal through and through. His bright, almond-shaped eyes, so clearly divided between black and white, sparkle with a smile. He is young and fresh-faced.
When visitors see him, they ask in surprise, "Who are you? Where's Boss Jiang of the Wuchang Residence?"
Dongfang Xingye, encountering a ghost for the first time, pauses. "I'm the new employee. Our boss is off lying in a coffin."

His words stir up a storm. Before long, everyone in the realm between life and death is talking.

Just as the ghosts decide to revolt en masse and take this chance to storm the gates of the Wuchang Residence, a lamp lights up.
The Wuchang lantern shines eternally bright as day, and all ghosts and spirits vanish.
Jiang Mingguang wakes from her coffin, rubs her forehead, and slowly lifts her eyes to look at Dongfang Xingye.
A faint, cool fragrance drifts through the air. For some reason, Dongfang Xingye's heart suddenly beats a little faster.
Jiang Mingguang: "I hear you've been telling everyone I'm dead?"
