Escape from Daliang Mountain

[This story is currently entered in a writing contest. Please give me a little vote of support; it really means a lot to me. Thank you, everyone!]

Your name is Xia Xiaohua.

Your mother killed your entire family of three, but you escaped because you were away at school.

Now you have to return to Daliang Mountain to collect your family's bodies, but you don't want to go back at all.

Among your family's belongings is an old mobile phone.

That night, the phone, which had no battery, suddenly rang. You answered it.

A desperate voice came from the other end: "Run!"

The story is told in the second person, through "your" perspective, as the truth from twenty years ago is gradually pieced together.

Theme: Live toward the sun.
