Naruto: The Tsubaki Poems

I'm a transmigrator. In my previous life, I was blown to death in an explosion.

The moment I opened my eyes, I found myself in the arms of someone wearing a mask, and I had become a tiny baby who had only just been born.

Granny Mito took the name Kushina had suggested and called me Uzumaki Tsubaki.

At first, I was just Konoha's second backup Nine-Tails jinchuriki.

Later, Konoha no longer needed me as its second backup Nine-Tails jinchuriki.

That decision was made during the Nine-Tails' attack, when I was fourteen.

By the end of the chaos, there were very few people left who were close to me.

Then I made up my mind to leave Konoha. With only a few hints from Jiraiya to go on, I began searching for traces of Tsunade and asking her to take me on as a disciple.

In the end, I found Lady Tsunade, and began studying medical ninjutsu in the outside world.

But then came the news that the Third Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen, had died, and our study plans had to be put on hold.

* The opening arc takes place during Kakashi's youth. I might consider making a game someday, but don't get your hopes up.

* Unless something unexpected happens, Kakashi will be the male lead. The heroine is a bit of a handful.

* In my personal interpretation, Uzumaki Mito has green eyes, and the story includes Hashirama and Mito as a couple. I'm mentioning it now to keep you from freaking out.

* The heroine had never watched Naruto before she transmigrated.

* OOC moments and personal interpretations are unavoidable.
