Huo Tingyuan has always had one problem: his classmates all seem to be terrified of him.
--
The legend of Huo Tingyuan has long been doing the rounds at A City's First High School.
Some say he is the young heir to the Yamaguchi-gumi, a gang in some island country.
Some say he is the illegitimate heir of an Italian mafia family.
Others say he is A City's underground boxing champion, with influence in both the underworld and the legitimate world.
Some even swear they've often seen a group of bodyguards in black suits and sunglasses following him around, escorting him to a luxury car.
Huo Tingyuan, 203 cm tall, muscular, handsome but villainous-looking, fond of suits and boxing: Could it be that I'm just an ordinary eighteen-year-old high school student?
During summer vacation, Huo Tingyuan's eighteenth birthday came around. His parents and older brother were away for work and couldn't make it back, so they could only call to send their birthday wishes and have someone deliver their gifts.
His mother gave him 1,000,000 yuan in pocket money.
His father gave him an understated yet luxurious car.
His older brother gave him a watch worth over a million yuan.
Already feeling gloomy, Huo Tingyuan thought: ...Great. No affection, just money.
In a fit of pique, he decided to go find a bar, have a drink, and spend his first night as an adult there.
--
Beneath the bar's dim yellow lights, Huo Tingyuan drank to drown his sorrows.
Then Song Jinshu came up to hit on him.
"Big brother, can I get your contact information?"
Huo Tingyuan had never liked talking to strangers, but this handsome boy had called him big brother.
He wasn't sure whether it was the alcohol or the beauty mark beneath the boy's dewy eyes that drew him in. Bewitched, he exchanged contact information with him.
Song Jinshu came on strong, and the clueless Huo Tingyuan soon fell for him...
And so Huo Tingyuan spent his unusual vacation learning to drive by day and going on dates by night. Their relationship blossomed over the summer.
But two months later, Huo Tingyuan had to go back to school...
He worked up the courage to tell his boyfriend the truth, but no matter how he explained it, Song Jinshu wouldn't believe he was a high school student. Oh no, what was he supposed to do?!
