The Folklore Society Archives is recruiting a records reviewer through a non-public hiring process, with civil-service-style management.

This position is reserved for a designated candidate and comes with an assigned partner.

Sharp-tongued, sinister boss gong X naturally gifted, chosen-by-fate office-worker shou.

When Qu Can first saw the recruitment notice, he applied right away. He felt like he had used up all his luck getting a stable government job, and his parents praised him for bringing honor to the family.

He had never told anyone that he often dreamed of sticky, damp tentacles lifting his eyelids, licking his ear canals, and winding tightly around every inch of him... At first, he found it terrifying and disgusting. Over time, he came to terms with it, and simply took these dreams as pleasurable fantasies born of some unusual kink.

The Witch God.

The gong is immortal and has a nonhuman form. After suppressing himself for too long, he is on the brink of madness.

The shou is a wage slave with a knack for attracting evil spirits. His main job is taming a sinister Witch God.
