Lin Wuyou: Is this a select-all-that-apply question?
Congratulations! You have been bound to the Celestial Master's System! Work hard to become a Celestial Master who saves all living beings!
After falling asleep, Lin Wuyou found herself bound to a strange System and transported to an ancient world crawling with demons and monsters.
As a player who knows all about farming dungeons and fighting monsters, she thought, I've got this. She planned to show off her skills in the dream.
But when she woke up, she discovered that many of the people she had met in the dream had appeared in the real world. And the powers she had gained in the dream worked in reality too.
As she wondered whether this was a parallel universe or a brain in a vat, someone she never expected suddenly appeared.
He told her, "Neither, Wuyou. This is all just a predetermined cycle of reincarnation."
Lin Wuyou drew her sword and swung: "Get lost, you cryptic weirdo!"
If Li Changfeng ever got the chance to go back, he would stop his sophomore self from going hiking.
Nearly a hundred years had passed since he transmigrated. He had searched everywhere, even visiting the legendary Heavenly Palace, but still hadn't found a way home.
Then he met a Taoist priestess as strange as he was.
At first, he only wanted to follow her and find a way home.
But after a long journey together, he realized he could no longer bear a life without her.
I'm terrible at writing blurbs _(:з"∠)_ struggling hard
I really want to play a big-budget Taoist-themed game, but there isn't one, so I'm making one up myself. Most of the metaphysical lore in this story is the author's own invention, inspired by folk legends and Taoist scriptures.
The story alternates between the modern and ancient worlds, with a little less of the modern setting. The author wanted to enjoy both modern ghost hunting and ancient ghost hunting, so this book came to be.
Theme: Face challenges head-on and overcome them
