[Offering Yourself to the State + Survival + Adventure + Settlement Building + Ensemble Cast + A Spoonful of Cosmic Horror and Infinite-Flow]
Shan Qingyun was bound to the Snow Country Train System and forced to transmigrate into a post-apocalyptic world to survive.
From the start, all he had was a dilapidated locomotive. Outside lay an extreme cold disaster and frozen earth stretching for thousands of miles.
Blizzards raged, and anomalous objects ran rampant.
Shan Qingyun's only asset was the radio aboard his train, which could contact the modern world.
Shivering in the icy wind, he turned on the radio. Given the choice between contacting his family and contacting his friends, he decisively chose to contact the state.
"That's right, Chief. You heard me correctly. I want to offer myself to the state."
"I've found an entire anomalous wasteland world!"
The news made Country C quake.
The highest-level orders came down in no time: divert every available resource and do everything possible to support the stranded citizen!
And so
Shan Qingyun: "This is the Class C anomalous object, the Proliferating Flesh Carpet. Any creature infected by it will grow several deformed limbs, becoming neither human nor beast."
The medical university studied the unusual cells and created biological prosthetics, solving the problem of regenerating severed limbs in one fell swoop.
The medical world was stunned. Patients from every corner of the globe flocked to Country C, trembling with excitement as they touched their brand-new arms and legs.
In the apocalypse, the train added a [Biological Medical Carriage]. The survivors, short on medicine and medical care, wept with joy and revered Shan Qingyun as a god.
Shan Qingyun: "This is the Class B anomalous object, the Ghost Baby Curse Drum. Any creature affected by it will keep conceiving and giving birth to stillborn babies until it dies."
The Academy of Agricultural Sciences extracted the drum's audio and created a sound recording to cultivate high-yield, prolific crops, successfully increasing crop yields twentyfold!
Country C's grain reserves soared, and its surplus food was sold around the world.
At a global conference, representatives of famine-stricken nations choked back tears: "We're grateful to Country C for saving the lives of our people!"
In the apocalypse, the train added a [Drum-Farming Carriage]. The survivors ate meat porridge until their mouths were greasy, thanking Shan Qingyun with tears in their eyes and kneeling before him without getting up.
With help from influential people on every side, Shan Qingyun's train gained more and more carriages, and his life grew more comfortable by the day.
He drove his train through the apocalypse, passing one settlement after another sealed off by natural disasters, and leaving a trail of hope wherever he went.
Meanwhile, Country C's national fortunes rose, and breakthroughs appeared in every field
Supernatural television teleportation channels, Xirang dam concrete, swarm-drone forces...
Years later, the surviving humans had established a foothold on the frozen earth.
Shan Qingyun: "The esper civilization has completed its recovery, and the human survivors have assembled. The large-scale portal will open in three seconds. Please prepare your teams!"
"Understood! The energy exploration team, heavy mining equipment, and accompanying anomalous combat unit are all ready."
"Thank you, trailblazer. Country C's Pioneer Corps is about to arrive on the frozen earth!"
"A new world brimming with resources lies just ahead!"
[Reader's Guide]
1. Shan Qingyun's Shan is pronounced with the fourth tone. The story is set in a completely fictional world and has nothing to do with reality.
2. There is a love interest, and he's not just a background character.
Pairing: Alxia, a native of the wasteland.
An upright, steady, heavily armored paladin with severe PTSD x a witty, carefree rogue who's warm on the outside and cold within.
Keywords: A saint's selfish desire, a rational person breaking down, picking on traumatized, helmeted tin cans.
(Helmeted tin cans: Usually fully armored paladins who aren't quite so strict about their vows, and occasionally take off their helmets.)
3. The world is cruel, but we'll do our best to be good people :D
I really couldn't find any inspiration for the previous preview, so I changed the premise. Apologies, prostrating myself.
Theme: Cherish life
