An American Horror Story

It's a short story but full of content. The first part was written like a fog. I thought carefully about what was scary and wondered if there were some doping elements like Cthulhu. I didn't expect that the following part was very natural and well-written. The foreshadowing was well recycled. There was a sense of swirling chaos and crazy beauty. Coming from Bird Brother, my wife's writing is really to my liking, a bit of an illusory and weird fantasy fairy tale.

I feel like there are some things I didn't understand. First of all, what are the silver shoes? Does it refer to a gun from the beginning or does it represent the heroine's dream of becoming a star? And what is Murphy? Supposedly they are the heroine's friends, but why do they live with them? If it's the heroine's fantasy, then everyone else can see this person. His origin is unknown, and it feels like something similar to a narrator. And why does the copy say Murphy is dead? Can't read. Furthermore, why does the heroine help grandpa kill Joaquin? She doesn't look like the kind of person who would care about what happens to her grandfather.
