A Hippopotamus's Topographical Adventure

Hippo Nick escaped while being transported to a zoo in the north, setting off on a wondrous adventure.

On his journey south, he met a righteous crow and a knowledgeable pangolin, and encountered a cruel leopard, a kind old hunting dog, an arrogant golden pheasant, a timid giant salamander, and many others.

More importantly, Hippo and his friends saw four unusual kinds of landforms: Danxia landforms, loess landforms, travertine landforms, and karst landforms.

Along the way, the crow gradually got rid of his bad habits of being short-tempered, arrogant, and vain.

The crow met his old migratory bird companions here and decided to stay, then fly north with them to their home the following year.

After a brief rest, the pangolin said goodbye to his friends and set off on a new journey. His homeland was vast, and there were still many landforms he hadn't seen!
