The Parasitic Gu

To make my little brother taller, five of my sisters died. Mom used their blood to raise venomous insects. The insects could cure every illness, and were known as parasitic gu.

Now I'm the only daughter left in the family.

"We're running low on medicine. What should we do?" My parents were discussing this when they suddenly turned to look at me.

If they knew how to raise gu, why didn't they know that gu could turn on its keeper?
