Heartfelt Words

Tips: I just wrote this on a whim. The plot is very slice-of-life, so it might not be good.

Blurb:

In all the years since she got over her heartbreak, plenty of people have pursued Wen Xin, but she has never fallen for anyone again.

Then the person she had known for over ten years but had never met appeared before her. At last, a gentle moonlight shone into her quiet night sky.

But this person was the one her best friend loved.

This person was also a violinist at the peak of her fame, a solitary moon adored by all, and a longing that seemed forever out of reach.

Wen Xin didn't dare reach above her station, and she didn't want to steal someone else's love. What she didn't know was that this cool, aloof woman, who refused to attend any social events outside of her performances, would make her first exception for the art exhibition Wen Xin had organized. She even went so far as to call in a favor and ask someone for help herself.

Later, the little star said to her, “Please be my moon.”

That way, we can stay together forever, whispering sweet nothings in the dark and then running away together at sunrise.

They never got the chance to run away, and instead ended up scattered to opposite ends of the earth.

Fortunately, time has cracks in it. It can preserve the tears that fall into them, and piece together every tiny detail of how love was expressed into a longing that bridges night and day.

Their story finds its happy ending on a bright morning, when this woman gives her a love that lasts longer than a lifetime.

It's a happy ending, sweet romance, with plenty of everyday moments between the two. There will be a short angsty stretch later, and they will break up, but they'll get back together soon. The ending is pure sweetness.

The pacing is unhurried, and the plot doesn't have many twists.

You take your time reading, and I'll take my time telling the story.
