Higurashi Nishi was taking part in her school's arts festival when, dressed as a witch, she somehow ended up in the world of Detective Conan. Mistaken for the Black Organization's fortune-teller, she was brought back to the organization and became its second-in-command.

The organization's fortune-teller was a founding veteran who established it alongside the Boss.

Legend had it that she could see a person's past and future with a single glance. Thanks to this ability, she had caught and dealt with numerous undercover agents sent by various factions.

It was only when Zero was brought into the fortune-telling room that he learned the final step to receiving a codename in the organization was to have the organization's fortune-teller read your face.

He raised his head, prepared to go down fighting, and waited for her to expose his identity. Instead, the fortune-teller told the organization there was nothing suspicious about him.

Zero breathed a sigh of relief, thinking to himself that the organization's fortune-teller was all show and no substance.

He was just about to step out of the room when a girl's voice reached his ears: Zero's come to infiltrate the organization, which means Morofushi is here too. The organization's watered-down booze is getting worse and worse.

Zero's pupils shrank. He whipped around.

Every morning, Higurashi Nishi's first order of business after waking up was to use makeup to give herself a witch's special-effects look. Fortunately, the laws of the Detective Conan world meant that special-effects makeup worked about as well as a disguise, and no one had realized she was a fake so far.

But in the world of Detective Conan, you could get blown up, poisoned, or murdered at any time.

After careful consideration, Higurashi Nishi decided to join the protagonist group, since so far, they were the only ones who never died.

So, after discovering that Zero had joined the organization, Higurashi Nishi sent Gin to kidnap him and bring him to her apartment. She wanted to bask in his protagonist aura while taking the A drug.

Ever since discovering that he could hear the organization's fortune-teller's thoughts, Zero had constantly looked for ways to get close to her and obtain information from her.

Just as Zero was congratulating himself on his cleverness and good fortune, Gin knocked him out and kidnapped him. When he woke up, he was lying naked in the fortune-teller's bed.

The next day, news that the fortune-teller had taken him to bed spread throughout the organization.

Zero was both furious and embarrassed, and swore he would get his revenge. Unfortunately, the fortune-teller disappeared after that, and no one in the organization ever saw her again.

Until one day, while working at the Cafe Poirot, he saw Ran Mouri and two little girls come in. One of the girls glanced at him, raised an eyebrow, and turned away.

As she turned, a familiar voice reached his ears: I haven't seen Zero in seven years, and he hasn't aged a bit. Did he take some kind of drug?
