By the end of the first issue's release day, the world's population had fallen by 70 percent.

Times were turbulent, and heroes rose from every corner.

In the official global poll organized by The Doomsday Weekly to name the top ten "Players You Admire Most," Shang Jiyue from the Huaxia region took the top spot with her unmatched skills.

In the elimination stage "The Decameron," she was a cult leader skilled at manipulating people;

In the instance "Middle School Teaching Practicum," she was a demonic teacher who could give children nightmares;

In the ghost story "Peaceful Neighborhood Property Management," she was a devilish security guard who struck fear into everyone's hearts.

She was given the nickname: Satan's Child.

In response, Shang Jiyue opened her arms to embrace the world, her gaze full of hope.

"My campaign slogan is: Though I dwell in hell, my heart yearns for the light."

The stronger the player, the higher up they appeared. One person claimed the top spot with a resounding declaration befitting the official wife.

In Shang Jiyue's short life, there were two particularly awkward moments.

First, when doomsday arrived, she was trapped in a mall restroom with four companions and had no choice but to live there.

Second, at that very same moment, someone she had a rather complicated relationship with and hadn't seen in a long time emerged from the opposite restroom, marked for men.

Their eyes met. Wen Zhuo spoke softly. "I heard you've been going around telling everyone I'm dead?"
