Countdown to Winning Over the Tsundere

My next book, After We Were Cursed by a Love Gu, is a monster-hunting story set in an alternate Tang dynasty, part of the Bickering Couple series. The full draft is in progress, so please add it to your favorites!

Blurb: Tsundere heir gets face-slapped and chases after his wife // Bickering couple

Xia Yuxi transmigrates into a book. Her main quest is to win over the original story's male supporting character, Xi Cizhou, within six months.

When she finds him, she discovers he's a mischievous, carefree brat who often messes with her...

He tries to get her drunk.

Xia Yuxi: I can't let that slide. I'll get him drunk right back!

While they're hunting demons, he actually takes her by surprise and smacks her right in front of a great demon.

Xia Yuxi: I can't let that slide. I'll put him in a chokehold!

He likes laughing at her.

Xia Yuxi: I can't let that slide. I'll bite him!

At the same time, Xia Yuxi does everything she can to win him over.

There's less and less time left, but the progress of her quest remains nowhere near completion.

Gradually, she realizes that the plot seems to have... gone off the rails?

*

Xi Cizhou thinks Xia Yuxi is approaching him for a reason.

Her behavior is just too strange.

One moment she's going head-to-head with him, and the next she's sweetly offering him pastries.

She's afraid of dying, yet she follows him into danger again and again.

And he, though he deliberately teases her, only wants to make her happy whenever she gets upset.

He knows he's probably fallen for Xia Yuxi.

This story contains a mountain of author-invented details. Please don't scrutinize them too closely!
