A home filled with arguments defined Li Huan's childhood and dragged her into an abyss, teaching her to feel inferior. But back then, she still believed in sincerity, in friends who would stand by her through anything, and in love that would last a lifetime. She did her best to be kind to those around her, but her friends betrayed her, and the person she loved turned against her because of something someone else said. Little by little, she shut herself away, nearly giving up on herself. Fortunately, a few people were still there to pull her forward.
Yu Yanyi resolutely stepped into her darkness and, when she was at her lowest, guided her out of her memories one step at a time. She thought she had escaped them, but then, at some point, those memories came rushing back, swallowing her little by little.
