The shou is forced to marry his sworn enemy, the gong, and is utterly against it.
He curses the gong for coming up with such a revolting idea, while thinking that spending the rest of his life with him would be worse than dying.
Just as he's wondering whether he should die, the gong dies first.
Shou: "...What?"
Does he have to compete with me over everything?
Fuming, the shou takes the enormous fortune the gong left behind and starts living it up now that his dead husband (crossed out) sworn enemy is gone.
But things take a bizarre turn...
After a friend puts an arm around the shou during the day, he feels a heavy presence on him when he goes to bed that night.
As if someone were holding him tightly.
The shou has a drink with a dancer at a bar, then wakes up with several conspicuous red marks on his neck.
As if someone had kissed and sucked at him fiercely.
One night, after accidentally falling into the arms of a suitor, the shou lies in bed pretending to sleep, waiting to see what strange thing will happen next.
He's almost asleep when he suddenly feels a weight on him, followed by warm sensations on his brow, lips, and the side of his neck.
When his ankle is gripped and lifted, the shou's eyes snap open. He comes face-to-face with someone familiar.
His sworn enemy and late husband smiles, but his eyes are dark as they stare fixedly at him.
"Not pretending to sleep anymore?"
"Then open your eyes and see how I punish you."

The shou and gong's mutual friends all know the two can't stand each other. They've been at each other's throats for years, never once backing down.
No one could have imagined they'd attend their wedding one day, and even less that they'd be attending the gong's funeral the very next day.
Their friends are horrified: Did they fight to decide who'd top whom on their wedding night and end up killing each other...?
One day, a friend finds the burial clothes he'd burned for the gong draped over the sofa in their marital home, and notices red marks on the shou's neck.
Finally, when the shou shows up with a tooth mark on his chin, the friend can't help asking, "Who did that?"
The shou answers expressionlessly, "A ghost bit me."
#My sworn enemy died and came back as a ghost. What do I do?
#He also wants to romance me.
