Later, when Shen Anzhi came to like her gently stroking his hair, she willingly let him touch her.

When he said he didn't understand what it felt like to love someone, she took hold of his lapel and rose on tiptoe to kiss him.

With madness held back in his eyes, he asked, "Is your tenderness for me alone, Senior Sister?"

She leaned close and coaxed him with a smile. "Of course. It's only for you."

She thought she'd completed her mission. She drank the nuptial wine he offered, ready to leave after a job well done.
