The Demon Lord finally lowers her proud head.

Later, Zhongli Shu accumulates more and more merit. Elders of the immortal sects invite her over as a guest, and ordinary people weep and clamor to sing her praises.

The bona fide Demon Lord Zhongli Shu begins to question whether she really is a villain.

The sword spirit on the bed yawns lazily. "Come sleep with me."

Zhongli Shu climbs into bed, composed and demure, but not without speed.

Zhongli Shu: Never mind. I'll think about it tomorrow.

One day, Zhongli Shu suddenly asks her, "Why did you come here?"

Cen Xuerong answers, "Because I want you to be loved and kind throughout your life."

Cen Xuerong rarely thinks about the original story anymore.
