On her wedding day, the male lead, who was supposed to be her groom, would change his mind at the last minute and run off. Afterward, she would take revenge on him and the woman he loved.
Her methods would include, but not be limited to, framing, slander, and kidnapping. Instead, she would only make the male and female leads' relationship stronger. She would end up a notorious criminal and meet a miserable end. Her mother would be devastated, her illness would worsen, and she would die. Her younger sisters would be ostracized by the family and eventually forced to leave and fend for themselves, only to be deceived by the wrong man and lose both their money and their innocence.

To prevent the events from her dream from happening, Su Yanqing decided to avoid every possible plot point.
In the original story, she would wake up on her wedding night and kick her fake groom, Ji Linheng, out of the house. So she would do the opposite. She would not only let him stay, but also follow the original plan, register their marriage, and become his legal wife. That would let her completely avoid getting involved with the original male lead and break free of the plot!
