Fortune-Telling Livestream: Trust in Science [Metaphysics]

Chen Wusi spent seven years studying at a Taoist academy, completing both her undergraduate and master's degrees, and finally graduated with tears in her eyes before descending the mountain to return home.

Other people's majors: electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science.

What she studied: drawing talismans, divination, feng shui.

She couldn't help feeling lost about her career prospects, so she immediately cast a divination to ask Heaven what to do.

Well, Heaven told her to start livestreaming.

Chen Wusi's livestreaming career took off. She read fortunes, checked feng shui, and passed messages from the dead. Life was full and lively.

At first, nobody believed her. They just wanted to watch her crash and burn on camera.

But, little by little, people began posting tearful thanks on her Weibo page.

Company CEO: "Master Chen's protective talisman really works! Holy crap, I got into a car accident today and only suffered a few scrapes!"

Construction worker: "Waaah, my grandpa sent me a dream through Master Chen and told me where the family heirloom was buried. I got rich overnight!"

The richest person in town: "Thank you, Master! My son, who's been missing for six years, has been found! The traffickers have all been arrested!"

All the haters and bystanders stared in astonishment.

What was going on?

Later, Chen Wusi's fame grew and grew. A TV station invited her for an interview to promote the revitalization of traditional Chinese culture.

"Before we wrap up, is there anything else you'd like to add?"

Chen Wusi let out a long sigh. "You should still believe in science. Don't fall for superstition."
