A car accident turned Mo Ni into a System's employee. She had to play a disposable character in the dark power fantasy novel Apocalypse Turns Me Into a Demon.

The System said, "Great, great. Once you awaken a water ability, you can hitch a ride with the ability users downstairs. We'll head south together, run into the male lead on the way, finish the plot, and then we're off to the races."

Mo Ni planted her hands on her hips. "Hahahaha!"

Just as the girl and the System were congratulating themselves, a deafening bang sounded outside. A gunshot blasted the disguised lock into scrap metal, and someone kicked the door open.

Behind the gun was a pair of cold eyes.
