Sen Miao was the youngest marine biologist in the history of the Huaguo capital's research institute, and also its coldest, most ruthless researcher.
His one true love was strange and wonderful marine life.
The institute paid well, but the pressure was intense. After seven years on the job, Sen Miao applied for retirement at twenty-five. His dream was to spend the rest of his life by the sea, growing old alongside marine animals. But on the very first night after his application was approved and he moved to the coast, he went head-to-head with poachers to save a rare dolphin, taking on all fifteen of them single-handedly.
He thought he could ask for nothing more from life, but then the System transported him to the interstellar era, promising to grant his wish if he completed his mission.
Sen Miao didn't have any particular wish, but seeing the System's adorable little fish form softened his heart, and he agreed.
In the interstellar era, everyone had a spirit form. However, spirit forms were divided by social status: people of low standing naturally had ugly, repulsive spirit forms.
As soon as Sen Miao was transported to the interstellar era, the System malfunctioned. It barely had time to throw him a small booklet before vanishing without a trace.
Sen Miao: ...
The booklet contained only one sentence: Find the He family bastard with an ugly spirit form, then sgfyjbvipr,:...(:
You could tell the System had tried its best. Too bad it couldn't quite finish.
When kind-hearted Sen Miao, who was good at reading between the lines, saw the so-called He family bastard's timid little tentacles: !!! A cute little octopus!!
His mission must be to take good care of this little octopus.
