-----Synopsis-----

He is the third son of the Assistant Minister of Revenue.

Having lost faith in the state of the court, he retreats to the county yamen and becomes a constable, hoping to do something worthwhile for the people and not waste his life.

He is a prince, high above everyone else, cunning and unfathomable.

He helped his elder brother kill their father and seize the throne, and was the mastermind behind the corrupt court.

While stationed at the capital pass, his only source of amusement was secretly reading the letters the Assistant Minister of Revenue's third son sent back to the capital.

"The Third Young Master burned down the county yamen today, then pretended to go rescue it and made off with five thousand taels in promissory notes."

"The Third Young Master helped the wealthy Li family with their accounts. The Lis sent over a box of gold, silver, and jade ornaments, seemingly as betrothal gifts."

"The Third Young Master has a fever and is unconscious."

"The Third Young Master's fever has broken."

"The Third Young Master says he might like men."
