[Highlight: The protagonist has a bad temper, but nobody thinks there's anything wrong with that!! If this bothers you, run!!]
The day after breaking up with his ex-boyfriend, Yuki Yuuri ran into him in front of his school's gym.
He really wanted to ask why his ex-boyfriend, who didn't even go to his school, was there. But the guy looked like he hadn't slept all night, so he clearly wouldn't answer a pointless question like that. Yuuri pulled him somewhere open, intending to settle a few loose ends.
His ex insisted that Yuuri give him a reason for the breakup. Looking at his ex's undeniably handsome face, Yuki Yuuri answered without a trace of emotion: "Because I don't like your face."
His ex-boyfriend stormed off.
Watching his ex leave Odaidai without looking back, Yuki Yuuri figured he probably never wanted to see him again for the rest of his life.
Many years later, Yuki Yuuri walked into an onigiri shop recommended by a coworker. It had a lovely atmosphere and delicious food, and was practically the shop of his dreams.
But it had one flaw: the manager had exactly the same face as his ex-boyfriend.
...So, could there actually be a third brother in their family?
* Yuuri is Odaidai's libero. The story includes some matches, but they aren't a major focus.
* As the blurb suggests, this is a story with a complicated romance, but the writing probably won't be too angsty. It might even be a little absurd.
Blurb idea saved as a screenshot on September 16, 2025. (Previous version screenshotted July 26, 2024.)
1. I changed the distance between the two schools... otherwise, the plot wouldn't work...
2. The main and supporting characters aren't perfect. They include a lot of the author's subjective assumptions, and the subjective assumptions of the people the author imagines.
3. The protagonist starts out going from his second year to his third year.
4. The matches take place during the third year in the original story, and there will be many original team members.
5. The protagonist has a bit of a temper (if you don't like that, please leave immediately!!)
6. The reason for the breakup is different from the one in the blurb. The protagonist made it up, and both of them know it's not the real reason.
7. To be added.
