After jumping off a building, Qing Qiying unexpectedly returned to the age of eighteen. In her lifetime, she could actually see her dead beloved again! She should have stayed by Yuan Que's side as his neighbor's little sister, calling him "big brother" over and over, but after being reborn, she found herself in a body that had never belonged to her.
Heaven is so unfair!
My life is so miserable!
In her previous life, she pursued Yuan Que to the point of madness. When he entered the entertainment industry, she threw money at the industry and followed him in. After her confession failed, he cut ties with her outright. But now, given another chance, she's been dealt a disastrous start: Heaven has stuck her with a stranger's identity? Ha! So she just has to compete with herself for her crush. No big deal, no problem!
The plan to save her beloved is officially underway!
Halfway through the rescue, after failure upon failure, Qing Qiying realizes something is wrong. When she takes on the role of a third party and watches the whole affair, she discovers that the beloved she treasured in her heart has always been a wolf in sheep's clothing!
His sunny smile is fake.
His warm heart is cold and damp.
His sincere kindness is all an act.
His love in return is revenge.
Only in the end does Qing Qiying realize that she was the final straw that broke Yuan Que. Like a venomous snake, Yuan Que bites her where it hurts, leaving her forever burdened with guilt, grief, and longing.
