[The World as a Chessboard series; large-scale academy arc, faux everyone-loves-him trope]
A lecherous father, an older brother who sees him as a traitor, and a friend who is thoroughly disappointed in him.
He thought everyone had turned against him long ago, unaware that others still held a place for him in their hearts.
At [Islington] Academy, Jin Huai is a villain who has done every evil deed imaginable and should have died long ago. Unfortunately, it seems fate still won't let him go...
But after ten years and ten steps of scheming, he is weary in both body and soul.
He wants to die. He will use his final move to kill the "God" and destroy "himself" completely!
