In the interstellar age, artificial creations are everywhere, and the ethical crisis of industrialized life has become a fiercely debated issue.
To protect human rights, artificial cloned life has been completely outlawed. Every human is implanted with a unique, non-replicable chip, and the Alliance does everything in its power to prevent illegal cloning.
Li Zhuoguang excelled in school and was already a renowned interstellar prodigy before graduating.
Then, after the night-lamp radiation, this rising star who had not yet had a chance to shine went plummeting to earth.
That was the day every living being in the galaxy awakened an ability.
Except Li Zhuoguang.
Without an ability, she also missed out on the enhanced physique that came with mutation.
Even so, through relentless training, she became the leader of a team tasked with eliminating alien species.
On the job, she was dedicated, friendly, and responsible, and never abandoned her teammates to save herself.
For twenty-nine years in a row, she was named an outstanding employee of the group and the captain people felt safest with.
After working diligently for thirty years and watching her savings grow, she decided it was time to quit and travel the stars.
Then one day, while on a mission, she found her own corpse.
*
After finding a corpse with a chip containing her information implanted in it, everything began hurtling in an eerie direction.
Every time she went on a mission, she encountered her own corpse.
In the memories she had forgotten, there was a woman whose face she couldn't make out.
Almost everyone around her had an imaginary childhood companion.
And every one of those companions looked exactly like her.
[Reading Guide]
The author's note at the end of Chapter One contains a complete list of content warnings. Please be sure to read it before starting.
After the gift-list arc, the main cast is entirely female. Please proceed with caution if that bothers you.
The missions focus purely on work. Average life expectancy in this interstellar setting is 300+. It is a matriarchal society, with a female protagonist and a male love interest. There is a romance plot, and the female lead is not a virgin while the male lead is.
This is not a heavy story.
[Next novel, launching August 16] "The Real Heiress Only Wants Power"
Sui Burao had no mother or father.
The woman at the orphanage named her Burao, wishing that calamities would never trouble the world.
Later, a kind couple adopted her. She had a room of her own and a colorful childhood, and she thought she was the happiest child in the world.
But the good times didn't last. The family's factory was sabotaged, her father died in the hold of a cargo ship under mysterious circumstances, and her mother's health rapidly deteriorated.
Hoping to earn money as soon as possible and ease the family's burden, Sui Burao gave up the chance to study abroad and chose an internship instead.
When a woman surrounded by bodyguards in black appeared before her, she could hardly believe the real-heiress-versus-fake-heiress drama was actually happening to her.

The daughter the Gu family had painstakingly raised moved with ease among the directors. Over tea, she loved to talk about the way Sui Burao had stood awkwardly at the entrance to the company.
They had always thought Sui Burao knew nothing.
That was until the company ran out of cash, business slumped, tens of billions vanished from its market value overnight, and its stock price crashed. They rushed to confront Sui Burao.
Sui Burao slowly raised her eyes, her gaze rising inch by inch like a cold gleam along a blade.
"Sister." She suddenly smiled, drawing out each word. "You're blocking my light."
-
Rumor had it that business tycoon Sui Burao suffered from insomnia, but could sleep peacefully only beside Xun Zhou, the pretty-boy actor everyone online hated.
The media erupted, mocking Xun Zhou for shamelessly currying favor with the rich.
But no one knew that Sui Burao had personally cut off all his resources, forcing this desperate canary to fly into her cage.
Later, after she had her revenge, Sui Burao finally grew bored of the game. With little interest, she tossed Xun Zhou a check. "Get lost."
But Xun Zhou smiled, the corners of his eyes damp and red, as if he had just been crying, or perhaps had always carried a touch of sickly gloom.
"President Sui." He knelt before her, clinging to her leg. "The Xun family has no daughters
"Marry me, and the whole Xun family will be yours."
Reading Guide:
Matriarchal society, women give birth. This isn't a simple gender swap, so some of the worldbuilding may catch you off guard. See the author's note at the end of Chapter One.
The female lead is not a virgin, while the male lead is. He plays the pig to eat the tiger and is a scheming, possessive pretty boy.
The romance and plot are split evenly. The female lead is villainous but doesn't break the law. The characters who break the law are all villains.
It may not be quite as coercive as the trope suggests, because I can't imagine the male lead not being into it.
Theme: Be dedicated, friendly, and responsible.
So that's it. I said it was a bit inconsistent before. I said that I was not curious, but at the same time I developed the photos, and my acting style was very eccentric. His reaction and attitude after defeating the superpower at the beginning didn't seem like someone who was afraid of things and kept his ears to the ground.
What did Ding Ning lie to Zhuo Guang? Help, I don't understand.
This feeling of gazing at each other and being pleased is so refreshing [Comparison of Hearts]
So that's it, it's connected, it's such a long foreshadowing
The more I read, the more I understand Ran Li. If my good friend was hunted down and even put her life in danger for saving others, and the person she saved might not thank her, even though she said she didn't mind, I would still hope that she would not continue. Rather than exchanging life for gratitude, I hope she is healthy and happy
Wow, I guessed it right. Li Zhuoguang and Ran Li are indeed higher-dimensional beings.
It seems like Li Zhuoguang and Ran Li
So was Ran Li later replaced by Pseudo-Human Race-α? Or is she a member of this ethnic group? Or what kind of deals have been made with people from this ethnic group? It feels like Ran Li is also the driving force behind Zhuoguang's exploration.
The setting of this article is that the average life span is 300+~
It's easy to fall in love with the character Gui Hai [Let Me Kangkang]
