But I'm Only Halfheartedly Trying to Win You Over

You can't hide your love for one person, but you can definitely hide your love for lots of people.

As an NPC employee of the Administration Bureau, Kazehaya Haruka is sent into this world to play an unimportant passerby. Their job is to pursue the main characters.

Kazehaya Haruka: I know this drill.

Be the first to class in the morning, then slip homemade snacks and a love letter into the locker of a member of the volleyball club.

At lunchtime, sneak out over the school wall to bring snacks and a love letter to the handsome police academy student next door.

After school, hang out with the Organization and, without batting an eye, leave a love letter and snacks in the boss's car.

Repeating this routine every day and never forgetting anyone, Kazehaya Haruka can't help but praise themself for being so dedicated.

Until one day, while preparing to leave something by the boss's car, they realize they've lost today's offering. Just as they're about to leave, he catches them red-handed. Silver hair hanging loose, the man looks down at them.

"Where's today's love letter?"

Kazehaya Haruka: ??? Wait, that's not my boss! Why is he asking about a love letter?

On the first day a little mouse started leaving things in his car, Gin had a dream. He dreamed of his future.

When he woke up, he discovered that the future he'd seen in the dream had come true.

From then on, he let the little mouse keep leaving things in his car. He'd tested the sweets for poison, and the other things were letters.

Until one day, he dreamed that the boy died.

In the dream, he watched the boy, who had taken a bullet for him, fall in front of him. He scoffed inwardly. What an idiot.

After that, his dreams stopped at that moment, as if they, like the boy's abruptly ended love and life, had come to a halt.

Gin began paying attention to the boy without meaning to. By the time he realized it, he was already caught in a dangerous whirlpool. In the end, he cornered the boy in front of his car and found his hands empty, carrying nothing at all.

Watching the boy's panicked expression, he rested one hand on the car, trapping him in the narrow space between the vehicle and his chest. His voice was soft, laden with an emotion too intense to hide. "You're bringing things to my place, but you've run out?"

"Then if I kill them all, will that be enough?"
