As far back as I can remember, I lived with my grandmother, Huang Taozi, in this peaceful little village. Every spring, the peach tree in our courtyard burst into bloom, its dazzling blossoms glowing like clouds of smoke and sunset-colored mist.
Huang Taozi was gentle and loving. Beneath that peach tree, with pink petals drifting around her, she would tell me captivating old stories in a soft, soothing voice, as though it came from the distant depths of time. I always listened, enthralled, curiosity and concern shining in my eyes. Those stories were like stars in the quiet night, gently lighting up my heart and keeping me company through countless happy and sad moments.
As the years passed, I grew up under my grandmother's care, while she slowly aged beneath the weight of time. I studied as hard as I could, hoping to give her a better life. But an unexpected turn of events plunged me into hardship. At the crucial moment, my grandmother's extraordinary resilience and boundless wisdom gave me a warm shelter from the storm. Amid that peach tree's radiant blossoms, the love between my grandmother and me remained eternal and bright.
