I got stuck halfway through building up my story backlog, so I'm taking a short break.
When Ning Jun woke up one day, he discovered that he was living in a world where four wealthy-family novels had merged. His three CEO friends and his CEO older brother were the protagonists of those four novels.
Ning Jun: "..."
Ning Jun was in a good state of mind. He calmly closed his eyes and went back to sleep.
"After all, I'm neither a vicious villain nor someone who picks fights with my CEO friends or brother. What does it matter to me how the plot unfolds?"
*
At a banquet, someone set up his CEO older brother, who accidentally drank spiked liquor and spent the night with a young star who had taken a wrong turn onto his floor.
The next day, once his senses returned, the CEO older brother was consumed with regret. He started showering the young star with resources, endorsements, and scripts, hoping to make up for what he'd done.
But the young star wanted none of it. The show was only halfway through filming, and he was already insisting on quitting?
While supervising the production on his brother's behalf, Ning Jun noticed that the young star kept feeling sick and sneaked over to ask, "Sister-in-law, do you have enough money to run away with the baby? If not, I can transfer you some."
The young star: How did you know I was planning to run? No, wait, how did you know I was pregnant?

At three in the morning, Ning Jun got a call from his domineering CEO friend, the Dragon King of Heaven.
The phone rang for a full three minutes before he sleepily opened his eyes and answered. Then he heard the other man say happily, "Great, Ning Jun, you're still awake!"
Ning Jun: "..."
That's right, that's right. I was just pretending to sleep.
Ning Jun yawned repeatedly. "What is it this time? Did you get into a car accident or get stabbed?"
The Dragon King of Heaven said, "It's even more serious than that. I think I've fallen for someone. Whenever I see him, my heart won't stop pounding. Could I have some incurable disease?"
Ning Jun asked, "What, before you met him, your heart wasn't beating?"
After saying that, he hung up and flopped back down to sleep.
The next day, Ning Jun saw a post on the Dragon King of Heaven's housekeeper's social media: It's been so long since I've seen the young master smile so happily.

His CEO friend from the Hua family invited Ning Jun over again. Ning Jun wasn't too keen on going, because the Hua family was enormous and had complicated relationships. Their gatherings often turned into chaotic love triangles.
Like last week, when he attended a funeral.
At the funeral, the young widower, having lost his husband, cried until his eyes were red. "My husband is gone. I can't live without a husband."
His husband's younger brother comforted him. "Sister-in-law, my brother and I look alike. You can treat me as if I were him."
That night, Ning Jun stayed over at the Hua residence. In the middle of the night, he vaguely heard someone knocking. "Sister-in-law, open the door. It's me, your husband's brother."
Huh? Are you two really just having a normal sister-in-law and brother-in-law relationship?
Still, Ning Jun loved drinking the Hua family's milk. It helped him sleep incredibly well, and every time he drank it, he'd wake up the next day feeling refreshed and full of energy.

Ning Jun's closest friend was his childhood sweetheart, the CEO Fu Yiqiao.
His childhood friend had always treated him wonderfully, giving him delicious food and fun toys and taking care of him in every possible way. The only downside was that he was far too possessive and extremely clingy.
"Ningning, can you stay over at my place tonight?"
"Ningning, you smell so good."
"Ningning, I have severe insomnia. I can only fall asleep when I smell you."
Ning Jun offered a sincere suggestion: "You could ask the Hua family's CEO for the milk recipe."
His childhood friend was silent at first. When he realized what Ning Jun meant, his pupils contracted. "Wait, you drank the Hua family's milk!?"
Drowsy, Ning Jun put his arms around his childhood friend's waist and buried his face against his chest muscles, soothing him. "Let's talk about it tomorrow. For now, let's go to sleep."
1. The pairing is with the childhood-sweetheart CEO. One-on-one romance, with both characters physically and emotionally pure.
2. A logic-free, silly little sweet treat for fun, with a melodramatic bent.
(I'll start posting once I've managed to build up enough of the story to reach halfway through!)
