[Haikyuu!!] Contamination Source No. 0

A world that has diverged from the original Haikyuu!!, where all the characters are either pollution entities or mutated people. [Disclaimer: Some elements may be inspired by other works, but this isn't a copy! If you have any concerns, please say so.] The story includes the apocalypse, contamination zones, and situations similar to instance dungeons. That's about it... The pairing is all Hinata. The characters may be OOC, and the story focuses on the whole cast. [There may be fewer ambiguous moments between the pairings... Most of the time, they're fighting pollution entities.] One day, the peaceful life they knew was suddenly shattered. Contamination zones appeared all over the world, forcing people into a living hell. The boys who had once been devoted to volleyball had to put down their volleyballs and pick up weapons just to survive in this dangerous world. Eight years passed. During those eight years, humanity gradually grew stronger, but it still couldn't keep up with the pollution entities that could multiply at any time or with the powerful creatures among them. For all those years, humans and pollution entities had been enemies, never once crossing paths. That is, until the day the Karasuno team from the Anti-Contamination Center returned from a mission to eliminate an A-rank pollution entity, bringing back a young man who shone as brightly as the sun. Karasuno's gentle senior: The little kid from back then can fight so well now. He must have gone through a lot out there. Little Sun: Could it be that I was doing just fine out there? I absolutely love being out there. Aoba Johsai's dependable senior: That guy's pursuing you? Don't let him succeed. That jerk deserves to meet someone who won't fall for him. Little Sun: I haven't thought about it like that. Actually, I feel a little sorry for him too, Senpai. Shiratorizawa's eccentric senior: Little guy, you have to look toward the future. Don't stay stuck in the past. Little Sun: I understand. It just feels like a bit of a shame. Nekoma's scientist senior: You're so unusual. You make me want to study you. Little Sun: Huh? Inarizaki's neat-freak senior: I've never seen anyone this clean. Can I look at you a little longer? Looking at those guys makes my eyes hurt. Little Sun: Ah? Sure. Fukurodani's [ordinary] guy: You know that underclassman of ours? How could you have come back alive if you knew him? Little Sun: Senpai's a nice person. He even taught me things. One of the Inarizaki twins: You look kind of weak... Little Sun: You don't seem as polite as your brother. Kamomedai's short senior: If people bully you, don't you hit back? Little Sun: They're not pollution entities, so there's no need. Red Rabbit's pride and joy: So, how are you getting along with humans? Little Sun: Mm, not all humans are terrible. The humans who initially got along well with the sun didn't know that the warm, dazzling sun was actually the true darkness. Thesis: I wanted to write a Haikyuu!! story set in an apocalyptic contamination zone.
