When a Dark Honmaru Becomes Stardew Valley

[You don't need to have played the game to enjoy this]

Years later, the beloved old-school farming game O Valley gets a full-dive version.

Wuting can't wait to log in, only to discover...

This town, called Blade Valley, has blood-red skies, dilapidated houses, and residents who are all gloomy and strange in their own ways.

Farming here is five-star difficulty!

Wuting: “...!”

So the game was missing a cheerful, friendly tutorial character (Robin) who could help everyone repair their houses with lumber and lend a hand to the neighbors?

As a veteran farmer, I can manage without big sister Robin.

I can fill in for her!

(Said with conviction)

“It's definitely not because I want to drop by NPCs' homes at any hour of the day or night to gossip.”

“It's definitely not because I want a legitimate excuse to rummage through their trash cans and refrigerators.”

“And it's definitely not because I don't want to lose NPC friendship points or anything!”

Laughs cheerfully.

When a new Saniwa suddenly arrives at the notorious Dark Honmaru...

Struggling Long-Leg Department: “Ah, before our new master falls into depravity... maybe I should Heshikiri him first? No, I must obey any order from my master...”

Kiyomitsu, who couldn't care less: “Just because they're a Saniwa, they think they can order us to farm?”

Some time later...

The two swords of the Okita Group are sweating buckets in the fields.

Ichi-nii: “I'm glad our master is willing to save the little brothers, but! Hasebe, stop! You can't help our master steal the little brothers' underwear...!!”

The old man: “Hahaha, a chaotic everyday life is lovely, too.” (Sipping tea serenely.)

The haggard, smiling Kasen: “...Fox-inosuke says our master just went out on a solo sortie. They said they were going mining.”

The old man (his smile suddenly vanishing) (no longer amused): “…”

All the swords: “!!!”

Theme: As long as you keep fighting back, you can turn things around no matter how difficult your circumstances are
