Desire in the Entertainment Industry

Qi Mubai went from idol to actor.

The danmei drama Desires spent six months looking for a top for Qi Mubai.

At last, they settled on the 22-year-old Meng Xinghe.

The kid showed up to audition three times with dyed blond hair, and Qi Mubai rejected him every time.

His reason was that Meng Xinghe was too young to play a domineering CEO.

Besides... Qi Mubai had known Meng Xinghe as a child. He'd been a chubby little kid.

Who could have guessed that after landing the role, the kid would cling to him on and off the set?

"I won't let you lose, Gege" became Meng Xinghe's catchphrase.

After Qi Mubai died once, he thought he'd left the entertainment industry behind.

But Meng Xinghe still found him.

"Gege, how long are you going to keep running from me?"

Later, Qi Mubai learned that Meng Xinghe had gone to all that trouble to make him fall in love with him again, all for the sake of revenge.

When Meng Xinghe tied both his hands to the headboard once again, Qi Mubai's heart turned cold.

"I don't mind dying one more time."

※ Bitter love, melodrama, sweet and angsty, happy ending.
