Nan Yu had a condition that made him cry uncontrollably. To maintain his cool, dignified image, he constantly kept his emotions in check when he was out in public.
But he was bound to run into people and situations he couldn't stand. Nan Yu could only act cold on the surface, then sneak back to the dorm and cry when his roommate wasn't around.
He was so careful, yet his new roommate still caught him.
Fortunately, Duan Zhuonian promised to keep his secret.
He would also pat Nan Yu's head, comfort him, and help him get revenge.
After that, whenever Nan Yu's mood wavered even slightly, Duan Zhuonian would notice right away.
Then he'd pull Nan Yu into a warm embrace, and Nan Yu would gradually grow used to sitting on his lap, calming down as Duan Zhuonian comforted him.
His new roommate really was a good person.
Buried against his roommate's impressive chest, Nan Yu thought in a daze.
Until one day, something poked him in the butt.
Bonus scene:
Duan Zhuonian realized that he was the first and only person who knew about Nan Yu's uncontrollable crying.
Beneath his cool exterior, Nan Yu was incredibly soft and adorable.
Especially when he curled up in Duan Zhuonian's arms, sobbing and wiping away his tears. He was so sweet and pitiful that it made Duan Zhuonian want to cherish him.
But one day, Nan Yu refused Duan Zhuonian's comforting service of sitting on his lap with his face against his chest.
Embarrassed, Nan Yu said, "I feel like my ears are vibrating, and there's something poking me down below. It's uncomfortable."
