When his nephew gets into a fight at school, Xiao Huai gets a call from his mother and is sent to the school to stand up for the kid.
In the office, Song Kele has a bright red handprint on his left cheek and a black eye on his right. Beside him stands a pretty little boy wiping away tears.
"Kele, tell your uncle, which brat did this?" Xiao Huai asks, scowling.
"My kid did it." A fair, handsome young man steps in front of the little boy.

"Yeah. Long time no see." Lan Chu replies coolly.
"You know each other? That's great." The teacher, who has been on edge this whole time, finally lets out a breath of relief.
"Right. We'll talk it over ourselves, so there's no need to trouble you, Teacher." Xiao Huai says, glancing at Lan Chu to see what he thinks.
Lan Chu nods, and the four of them leave the office together.
Lan Doudou tugs at Lan Chu's sleeve and whispers, "Dad, I'm going back to the classroom to get my backpack."
Song Kele hurries after him. "I'll get mine too."
Once the two little kids are gone,
Xiao Huai looks at Lan Chu's cold, abstinent face and clicks his tongue twice. "First grade, seven-year-old son, and you're only twenty-five. You had a kid out of wedlock at eighteen? Not bad. I never knew you were so wild."
Half an hour later, in the car.
Xiao Huai asks Song Kele, "Why did he hit you? And why did he start crying when he was the one who hit you?"
Song Kele fidgets, a little embarrassed. "I kissed him."
"Oh, then you deserved it." Xiao Huai says. "He's nothing like his dad was as a kid. His dad never cried after beating me up."
Song Kele perks up. "Uncle, did you kiss Lan Doudou's dad when you were little too?"
"Yeah." Xiao Huai reminisces. "His dad hit hard. That bite mark on my waist? He gave it to me back then."

Late one night, a long time later, Xiao Huai pins Lan Chu to the sofa, kissing him so passionately that neither can bear to stop.
Lan Doudou, who had already fallen asleep, rubs his bleary eyes and suddenly bursts into tears. "You're bullying my dad! You're a bad person!"
Xiao Huai, still wanting more, gets up and crouches in front of Lan Doudou. "From now on, I'll be your mom. It's normal for parents to do this. It's love, not bullying."
"Can a man be a mom too?" Lan Doudou is confused. He really wants a mom.
