Raised by an Evil God in an Infinite-Flow World

An ordinary player in an infinite-flow game tried to end his own life. He succeeded, but he also failed. Somehow, he came back to life and was taken away by an evil god to be kept as emergency rations.

Maybe I'll be eaten before long. I hope it doesn't hurt, the protagonist thought listlessly.

He curled up in his room, spent all day staring into space, and waited to be served at the dinner table.

One day, a giant teddy bear pushed open the door. Its button eyes fixed on him as it called him Baby.

So he wasn't emergency food after all. The evil god had taken him as a pet.

This evil god was a strange one. It hid from his view all day, making sinister little laughs, and sneaked up to touch him while he slept. Whenever it was caught, it ran away in a panic. It didn't seem very godlike at all.

But it took good care of him. Its only problem was that he stayed in his room all day and never went outside.

"Baby." After feeding him one day, the evil god said sternly, "You need to go outside and get some sunshine."

It packed toys, clothes, and food for him, then sent him on a vacation to an instance.

The protagonist, who didn't want to go out, was furious. He ignored the evil god's soft, pitiful voice and refused to speak.

Players had noticed that the same NPC had been appearing in high-risk instances lately. He had a pretty face that was always cold, looked unhappy every day, and seemed weak and easy to bully. Yet the BOSS did everything he said.

While they struggled to survive, he sipped afternoon tea as if he were on vacation.

Someone tried to attack him and was torn to pieces by the BOSS, who came running over. Someone else tried to suck up to him, but he dodged, then disappeared, carried away by some unknown force.

The players decided the NPC was just dangerous scenery, completely useless.

Until a player who had actually won his favor was released by the BOSS on the verge of death, and cleared the instance without taking any damage.

The players went wild and rushed one after another to win him over.

The protagonist was fed up. Hiding in a corner, he thought angrily: I'm just a pet. I'm no use at all. Why is everyone coming to me?!
